Easy crochet braided chain for belt, strap, tie, jewelry, Tunisian cast on, or as foundation chain

 

Handy as foundation chain in crochet projects especially when you need extra loops in which to work stitches or a decorative trim or border. Very helpful as a weighted chain in Tunisian crochet, especially when working in two colors.  I also use this braided chain with multiple strands and thickness to create belts, ties and straps. Very easy and fun to make.  Works great for jewelry and bracelets too!!
